LOOK BACK TO HEAL

In this fast paced life, we tend to forget some hurtful events and move ahead as if nothing happened. Have you done this too many times? Have you denied yourself the time to pause for self retrospection? This is the story of most as we strive hard to achieve goals of the organisational hierarchy. What we are striving hard towards is the list of goals that ‘everyone must achieve’ in their lifetime.

And did you ask yourself who is benefiting from this list? Not saying that you must never dream to achieve this list. You must if you are in a situation to do so. But should it be the goal of life for every single individual? And should our understanding of “success in life” be limited to this particular “golden list”?

Indeed it is time to look back and heal before you go any further. We have to understand that as a community, what we need the most is to have a well connected and happy network of people who trust and rely on each other.

We need the awareness of self gratification. We need to understand that if there is always this need to prove yourself and your success, there is going to be a never ending loop of desires that might emotionally keep you in lack. And because of this lack might arise emotional blockages that might in some way affect your health.

The question now arises, ‘but this is human body, we are undeniably going to face some health issues. How can we be so sure that being emotionally sorted is going to prevent us from some hereditary illnesses?’

The answer to this is yes, we are bound to fall ill at times and it is natural. But healing is also natural! We tend to forget that healing is a natural process and that our bodies need a little physical and emotional support to heal. And therefore comes the idea of dependence in a society rather than independence. Dependence is good for connectivity, healing and better use of resources which is in turn better for planet earth.

We all have our pasts and we need to heal completely from the past events to move ahead at a greater speed. Just like a rubber band when pulled backwards enforces the object to fly further and faster.

Meditation is to sit quietly with yourself and connect from where you left off. Has it been long since you connected with your inner self? It is time to rebuild, heal and then move ahead. Yes, by looking back you can heal! Look back only with the purpose of healing. Let the emotions flow out of your systems into the universe and replace those emotions with positive ones. If it is difficult for you to do this by yourself, take help of a professional. But this process is waiting to happen! Reach out before taking your next leap of success. You will see yourself not only rejuvenated but also reconnected with yourself, fully prepared to take on the world.
